Igoumenitsa is a coastal city in northwestern Greece. It is the capital of the regional unit Thesprotia. It is a relatively new city after being reconstructed following the 2nd World War.

Port Location – The port of Igoumenitsa is located outside of the urban area on the southern side of the land harbour area, close to Ladochori village.

Frequent passenger and car ferries to and from Corfu.
